Opioid Agonist Treatment Team

OasisOral Opioid Agonist Treatment

Oasis provides opioid agonist therapy (OAT) with methadone and buprenorphine-naloxone (Suboxone) for people who are dependent on opioids.  OAT has been associated with positive health and social outcomes, such as:

  • increase in retention in care
  • reduction of illicit opioid use
  • reduction of HIV transmission
  • reduction in criminal behaviours
  • reduction in overall mortality rates.

Take Home Naloxone

Oasis provides free take-home naloxone kits to prevent opioid overdose deaths. When you get your kit you will also receive training on overdose prevention, recognizing an overdose and how to respond.
