Walk-in Clinic
Goals of the Walk-in Clinic are:
- To address the acute health care needs of marginalized people who inject drugs, smoke crack cocaine and/or are involved in sex work;
- To assess the HIV and hepatitis C risk of individuals for further linkages to care;
- To establish therapeutic relationships with high risk marginalized people who inject drugs, smoke crack and/or are involved in sex work to engage them into health and social services.
Eligibility for walk-in clinic:
- People who inject drugs
- People who smoke crack daily or frequently
- People engaged in street level sex work
- Oasis clients who have a primary health care provider elsewhere but need acute care.
Oasis Comprehensive Primary Care Practice
Goals of the Oasis Comprehensive Primary Care Practice:
- To provide comprehensive primary health care to marginalized people who use drugs and/or are engaged in sex work who are living with or at risk of HIV.
- To provide integrated care for the mental health, substance use and primary care needs of our clients.
Anonymous HIV Point-of-Care Testing
Oasis offers anonymous HIV Point-of-Care testing on a walk-in basis to anyone who is concerned about their HIV status. Testing for other sexually transmitted infections (STI) is only available for Oasis clients.
