Social Services Walk-in


·         Helps people with immediate needs, e.g. Laundry vouchers (once per 30 days); clothing voucher (once every season)

·         Crisis intervention up to and including suicide intervention

·         Emotional support 

·         Client advocacy

·         Direct service – crisis response, grounding, immediate stabilization

·         Consultation with other service providers (internal and external)

·         Focus on most urgent need/ need identified by the client

·         Referral to in house services

·         And referrals to community services

·         No bus tickets and no food vouchers

·         Emergency Food cupboard (access once per 30 days)

Registration process: 
• Monday to Thursday – 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Clients can present between 12:40 and 3:30 p.m.) • Friday – 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Client can present between 12:40 and 3 p.m.) • First come first served Clients register for Social Services Walk-in by presenting at Central Reception
